HISTORY
2010
Tera Automation was founded in 2010 in Tuscany’s Casentino Valley, one of the four valleys surrounding the city of Arezzo, a global jewelry hub renowned for its ancient tradition and expertise in precious metal processing.
2013
Tera embarked on its first significant challenge : designing an automated induction tunnel furnace for the continuous production of precious metal ingots, marking the start of itscollaboration with Italimpianti Orafi.
2018
Tera tackled its second major challenge: automating the entire ingot production process from metal melting to final packaging, a global first . This effort led to the launch of the T-Line, a turnkey automated solution showcasing Tera's innovative spirit and continuous drive to deliver increasingly optimized solutions.
2023
Tera Automation celebrated its 10th anniversary with a corporate event attended by collaborators, partners, and international clients.
2024
Tera Automation became a partner of Doma Automation, an Arezzo-based company with 15 years of experience in the jewelry industry software.
OUR SERVICES
SOLUTIONS FOR PRECIOUS METAL PROCESSING
Tera Automation has developed high-performance automated systems tailored to the precious metals sector. These solutions enhance industrial automation, either by integrating with existing company machinery or completely reimagining workflows. These systems are compatible with various robots and aim to maximize productivity and product quality.
ROBOTS AND ROBOTIC CELLS FOR VARIOUS INDUSTRIAL SECTORS
Drawing on extensive experience in automated lines, Tera Automation designs robotic integrations that enhance production flows across different sectors, including:
- Precious metals
- Fashion accessories
- Automotive
- Pharmaceutical
- Precision mechanics
- Palletizing
In addition to robotic automation, Tera Automation integrates cutting-edge technologies like electronic control software, artificial intelligence, and 2D and 3D vision systems.
TEAM
Expertise, professionality and enthusiasm have allowed Tera Automation’s young team to establish significant collaborations with prestigious global refineries that contributed in spreading the company’s reputation worldwide.
Indeed, despite its strong technical orientation, Tera’s fundamental cornerstone remains the human factor:the efficiency of the machinery is nothing but the result of the cooperation of experienced, inventive people driven by a passionate, customer-oriented approach.
TECHNICAL OFFICE
The Technical Department can boast a highly qualified and extremely creative young team of engineers.
PRODUCTION
In production, young and senior staff work side by side every day—the former providing energy and creative flair, the latter contributing with their know-how and attention to detail.
COMMERCIAL AND ADMINISTRATION OFFICE
The sales and marketing department addresses an increasingly rich international market together with the national one. Versatility and constant dialogue with the technical office enable the sales team to guide clients towards the best solution for their needs.
Tera’s international spirit is constantly nurtured through participation in trade fairs and conferences around the world. In 2023, the company participated in 17 trade shows, only three of which were in Italy.
MAXIMECCANICA
A crucial role within the company team is played by Maximeccanica, a branch of Tera Automation dedicated to CNC mechanical machining. Most of the parts required for assembling Tera machines are produced here, along with the most requested spare parts. This ensures a short supply chain, great care for the entire production process, and an always up-to-date warehouse at clients disposal.
LUCA FIORINI
Overseeing it all is Luca Fiorini, born in 1979, CEO of Tera Automation. A young entrepreneur with an engineering background, he has looked to the future by creating what he likes to call a company of “industrial artisans.”
INVESTMENTS IN THE TERRITORY
Despite its strong international character, Tera Automation remains deeply tied to its territory. Evidence of this tight bond are the numerous local initiatives it sponsores, such as the Biennale d’Arte Fabbrile and the Casentino Literary Prize, as well as collaborations with local high schools and universities.
It is precisely in this direction that the T-Talent project has been launched: a scholarship for recent graduates enrolling in STEM faculties, valid for the entire five-year course.
Tera Automation aims to become a center of excellence for automation in Casentino, attracting clients, jobs, and outstanding human resources.
